Please Join the Garden State Philharmonic and Jersey City Ballet for two exciting performances of Peter and the Wolf, written by Serge Prokofiev in 1936. The Moscow Central Children’s Theatre director commissioned Prokofiev to write a symphony for children. The resulting symphony utilizes distinctive instruments to tell the story of each character that the narrator, Peter, encounters on his journey.
